Nathan's Secret to Success
“Have a strong work ethic and keep challenging yourself to do better.” Nathan recently celebrated 20 years of service with Bedford. Throughout those years he has been based at Elizabeth, and enjoyed learning many and varied skills while making sure never to let his disability get in the way of achieving his goals.
Having finished school at age 16, Nathan thought he’d take a gap year, but his dad made sure he kept busy by taking him along to help with his work as an electrician. “I have driving lessons every Sunday, and I’ve done about 45 hours now - more than halfway,” said Josh. “So, I am saving up for a car. A VL Commodore Station Wagon, I hope. I just need to find one.” While he has worked in a variety of jobs over the years, Cultivate is by far his favourite.
