Bedford is a not-for-profit registered charity that exists to support people with disability to live the life they choose.
As the second-largest employer of people with disability in Australia, Bedford provides a broad range of employment options, services and supports for 1,500+ clients across 22 sites in South Australia.
Our services are designed to meet individual client goals while building life-skills, independence and career pathways. This includes Bedford-backed social enterprises in food production, manufacturing, laundry services and landscaping, which provide inclusive and supportive workplaces, with diverse training and open employment opportunities for people of all abilities.
Looking to the future, Bedford has initiated a Five Year Strategic Plan that will result in contemporary, commercial service offerings, state-of-the-art facilities, and growing the open employment pathways into Bedford-owned social enterprises. This means more choice and opportunities for people with disability and barriers to employment.
